BILLING
NEW BILLING UPDATE
Most insurers do not require a copay for an annual exam. However, in some instances during a well visit or routine physical, our clinicians may need to give more attention to a chronic condition, treat a new illness, or address an injury. Insurers view this additional time as a separately billable service. You may be charged a co-pay or deductible when billing for a separate medical problem occurs during a routine checkup. Whether you are charged a co-pay or deductible depends on the medical insurance plan you have and is determined by your insurance company, not by our office.
